Bus Features

Spiral Slide
To make the best use of the available space we've installed a spiral slide between the two decks.
The slide is enclosed at it's upper levels with netting, and the lower with padding, so it's safe.
It exits into the ball pool, and is the most popular feature on the bus.
Wavey Slide
Every fun bus has a slide, so we gave ours two!
This one is just on the lower deck, like the spiral, it exits into the ball pool.

Old Smokey
As kids get a bit older they want more than slides and climbing frames, so the bus has built in a smoke machine to add to to the fun.
We know smoke isn't for everyone, but if you want some, just ask.
With the coloured flashing LED lighting and sound responsive laser we have fitted, the effects are really good, especially in the darker months.

Light and Sound
A typical bus isn't wired for light or sound, so we put in ours an eight speaker sound system, and replaced all the standard 240 volt tubes with hundreds of safe, multicoloured flashing LED's.
The sound is evenly distributed along both decks, no need to have it blasting out from a single speaker in the cab.
And the lighting, as well and being vibrant and coloured, is 12 volts, 100% safe.

Air Conditioning
Even on a cool day, if the sun comes out, the top deck of a stationary double decker can reach 80 degrees within 30 minutes.
So KidsFunBus has installed a Prem-I-Air 11,000btu reversable air conditioner, providing cold air on warm days, (and warm air on cold days!) Few fun buses offer air conditioning, but we consider it essential.

Heating
Normal buses use the hot water from the engine to distribute heat through piping that runs the length of the decks. Fun buses are full of padding and mats, so these pipes have to be covered or removed. Most fun buses rely on electric fan heaters which can't be turned on until the bus gets to the event, and plugs into a mains supply.
By the time the bus has warmed up, it could be time to go, so KidsFunBus is fitted with a diesel powered space heater. So on a cold day, all the while the bus is driving to your event, it's warming up.
